Why Dog Training?

● Our Mission & Philosophy

Our Principles

Real Life First

Training should improve everyday life, not just create perfect sessions. We focus on calm walks, better communication, and more freedom alongside your dog.

Community

Good training environments should feel welcoming, grounded, and supportive. We leave room for learning without pressure, posturing, or judgment.

Clear Communication

Dogs thrive when communication is consistent and understandable. We value structure, patience, and leadership that creates confidence on both ends of the leash.

Growth Through Experience

Progress happens through repetition, real-world exposure, and shared experiences. We believe lasting relationships are built over time, side-by-side with your dog

● Our Story

Meet Tom

Tom Bain is a nationally certified dog trainer and behaviorist, specializing in advanced behavior modification. Starting in the veterinary field in 2012, his background in low stress handling and animal care helped shape a practical training approach built around communication, structure, and trust.

After raising a high drive German Shepherd that required far more than the retrievers and labs he was used to, Tom dove deep into educating himself on behavior, communication, and what dogs actually need to thrive. That process of learning not only made him a better trainer, it gave him a foundation worth passing on to others.

Over the years, Tom traveled across the country working alongside trainers, facilities, and businesses of all kinds. That experience gave him a wide lens on the industry and a clear sense of what he wanted to do differently. Most people were getting trained dogs, but not many were getting a life they actually enjoyed living with them.

That idea eventually became Peacemakers Pack. A space centered around training, community, and creating more opportunities to enjoy life beside your dog.
